In chop chef, you must move the items on the board around using the arrow keys. Plate food to create the required meals, then deliver them to complete the level.

This game is still being worked on, so feedback is much appreciated!

I'm really impressed, this game is incredibly cute.

I also got stuck on level 6, but I'm not exactly a puzzle game buff.

My only request would be an "undo" button! I know there's a restart button, but if I've taken several turns and only one of them was a mistake, it's a bit tedious to have to remember how I got to that point again to fix my mistake.

Fun game concept.

I got stuck on level 6. It got really hard for me to figure out how to approach it.

Feedback I have it maybe a restart hint (R) when the puzzle is unsalvageable.

- i.e. a whole uncut tomato is on your plate and that is not the intended dish

Sharing a thought that came to mind when playing and saying it's not needed, but thought it might be worth tossing out there haha.

To preface ~

Most puzzle games where you have a collection of levels where you complete 1-X puzzles have a replayability problem -- in my opinion.  Cause of these 2 reasons.

1. Such as in my situation. I might get stuck at a particular level and I might not be able to witness the rest. And I need to bang my head against the wall till I get it or quit.

2. I play the level, then I'll never play it again, cause I beat it.

So my idea is:

Maybe you can have a mode where you can do a time attack mode.

Something like a bar moving down slowly, and completing the puzzle will replenish it.

If the bar hits 0 the game is over.

Then for the way I might approach the scaling is to randomize the puzzles and create an artificial curve. Maybe you rate a puzzle as EASY, MEDIUM, or HARD.

Then you can serve the levels in a way that can give the player a way to build up confidence, then serving them harder ones as time goes on.

i.e. maybe something like

EASY, EASY, MEDIUM, EASY, EASY, EASY, MEDIUM, MEDIUM, EASY, MEDIUM, HARD.

Anyways,

Good work and I really like the idea in general!
